  1. So I was out riding my torker dx todayπŸ™‚ and I started climbing up a
hill 😎 when my saddle broke in half. πŸ™ I was wondering
what people suggest for a cheap sturdy replacement saddle.πŸ˜•
Also my pedals are falling apart:o so does anyone know of some cheap
pedals that fit on the dx and would work for hardcore
    muni/street?πŸ˜•
    Thanks a lot!πŸ˜‰ ,Goats

The goat iz a coarse wollen sheep, with a cracked voice and a sanguine
digestion. They had rather steal a rotten turnip out ov a garbage
barrell than cum honestly bi a peck of oats. They strike from the hed
and are az likely tew hit the mark az a bumblebee iz.

  5. Oh, I'll get pics soon. The saddle broke right by the seatpost. The
only thing holding it on is the covering.

  8. i'll agree with mornish and say the nimbus gel is a good one, my cousin
broke his dx seat in half too and he replaced it with the gel and loved
it but only got to ride it for a short period of time because he
snapped his frame a week later......torkers replacing it free for him

  9. Thanks Miles! Oh hey, How about the KH saddle? It's the same price as
the Nimbus. Is it as good?

  10. I prefer the nimbus because it's skinnier, but some people like the KH
more. I say get the nimbus though, it doesn't chaffe very much.

unfortunantly, if you already snapped one base, you will eventually
snap another plastic one and the only real way to not break one would
    be to go 'carbon fiber'
    (http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=259). that's is
    expensive though.

the nimbus gel is a pretty solid, comfy seat though.

  12. The kris holm is close to the dx saddle I think. from what i have read
the nimbus gel is a great saddle but the kris holm saddle is also good

  13. The DX saddle is a KH saddle with a different cover. It will be just as
strong as the nimbus or the Kh or the KH fusion. If you want something
stronger you have pretty much two choices. Either a Steel base, or a
Carbon Fiber base. For a steel base I would recommend the Classic
Saddle (I'm assuming its steel as its based on the viscount if I'm not
mistaken), it is very strong but it's not that comfortable. You can mod
it pretty easily though and toss a handle (the one from the KH is
pretty easy to put on) and some nice padding on it (you could use the
KH foam or experiment with something). You could use your original
padding from the classic seat, your DX cover or buy a fusion cover. If
you have the money though and you want something nice and strong and
light. Then I would recommend getting a Carbon fiber base, and building
    around that.

  17. No problem, if you want some instructions on rebuilding a viscount lemme
know as I just did it to mine. I don't have a camera so it would have
    to be written though.
