Now that the Garmins are getting popular, what do folks think of the idea of a sticky for posting .gpx files of favourite rides so others can look at them in GoogleEarth?
Reasons for posting rides could include; 1. It's just too good not to share with everyone. 2. Showoff. 3. Help out those who are planning a holiday and are looking for group rides or tours. 4..... help me out here - be creative 😄
The .gpx files would need to be compressed - say with WinZip - they are pretty ugly and wastefull and compress down remarkably. Sample attached, just for fun.
What do we need to do to get this started? I have no experience at this caper - I just lurk and read posts 😎
