stem options?

I have some new 26mm Bull Horn Bars with 105 levers and a 7/8 stem for a 1" threaded steerer. 😉

Sheldon Browns "stem extension" page has the stem extensions to 1&1/8.

Use the shims. They are fine. All stems seem to be for 1 1/8" steerers these days as that is now becoming standard and it is cheaper and easier for stem manufacturers to make one size.

You could look at ebay to get something used or a new old stock, but I think that you will have a hard time finding a 1" X 31.8mm stem.

in fact, pretty much all threadless stems come with a shim anyway...
