Hello fellas I"m 22 years old and been on a 6 year biking break since I was 16!! I always wanted to buy a bike but kept laying it off due to my lack of knowledge in the field.
the ocr zero caught my attention but through surfing the internet I have seen mixed reviews and I'm a little confused. I"ve seen debates raging about all carbon frame vs. alluminium frames with no clear cut of which is better. Some people even recommend the TCR1 over the OCR series.
The frame in the OCR is apparently supposed to be more comfortable with a more upright position. However some reports suggested it didn't make much of a difference? Another confusing factor.
I Plan to do 40 k trips to the city for work and 50k bike rides down nepean high way and beach road (along chelsea, beaumauris, brighton, elwood etc.) on the weekends. And was wondering if the ocr zero would be suitable for these?
I"m not a triathelete but more of an enthusiast who likes good speed as well as a nice scenic ride. this bike retails in australia for 2300 but I can get it for 1700 (australian dollars). If there are any other bikes that are you think are superior and highly recommended please let me know. I seriously feel lost in the road biking industry at the moment.
Thanks for your time =D (sorry for the massive post)
