The Solida is made from 7075 and the Altera from 6082...

    So which alloy is best?

They are both 42cm and 26.0mm

Don't know, but I have over 25,000 miles on my Cinelli RAM. It's still perfect and it's been down twice. First time hard enough that my head split my Giro liner all the way thru to the shell and the seconed time, opposite side, hard enough to break my hip.
