  1. We got out of the heat two hours North of Phoenix. Hit the trailhead about
9:30 a.m., 64°F, slightly humid from the previous night's downpour and
    perfect riding conditions.

Too much on the bike action to stop and take photos, those I did take
weren't all too spectacular so I didn't bother to dl them.

The trail was soft but not soft enough to leave much of a track. Puddles
were spotty so little trail damage was done. Most was rideable, some of the
climbs were too steep and washed out from the recent rains. Upper Moto was
too difficult for me to ride so I walked most of it. The rain had all but
taken any noticeable line away and there was nothing but boulder after
boulder to bounce off of.....no thank you. Those with talent can ride this
but I'm not one of them!

about 23 miles, 3400 feet of climbing and 3.5 hours on the bike ending with
a burger and beer in town.

that's why I ride. GPS stuff here

Man I'm jealous...has been too long since I've had any rides like
that....'round here in KY it's a 7 mile loop or so that is not scenic
(except the deer scattering under the freeway) and not particularly
interesting. More of a workout than a great day. Man I miss NorCal and the
    West! Maybe someday again.
