I've been to 3 professional baseball games.

I was bored stiff in all 3 of them. Upper deck seats - you can't see what's going on (can't tell
what's going on with the hitter/pitcher duel). I'd rather go watch some Masters Fatties ride around
in circles at a practice crit.

I guess you've got to be born into the Cubs or Red Sox. It's the late night west coast games on the
radio, the "King Arthur" flour commercials, the broadcasting tradition. There is no way to explain
    the tradition. Bill C

You obviously haven't been following the Cubs or a Red Sox for very long if you actually think that
either team is going to participate in, let alone win the World Series.

BTW, next time you post off topic please put <OT> in the header. I know it was really obvious this
time, but sometimes it is not.

A Bosox <=> Cubs W.S. would be a recipe for disaster. It's elementary logic. Like building an
    antigravity machine.

Given- Cats always land on their feet and Toast always lands butter side down, then A dropped cat
with buttered toast on its back will never touch the ground.

Given The Sox will never win the WS and The Cubs will never win the WS then A series between the two
will be cancelled (earthquake, terrorist attack, players strike, ...)

  10. What is this stuff that you're writing about??

OK, so you've been a fan for a long time. I would have thought you would have learned your lesson by
now. One can only beat their head against the wall for so long 😉

"We" won? This always makes me laugh when I hear someone refer to their favorite team winning as
"we" won; so you were in Oakland playing for the Sox yesterday? You must have been a late addition
to the roster that I over looked 😉 Also, whenever their favorite team loses, its never "we" lost.
    How convenient.

    Actually...

If you are going to blame anyone, blame Al Nipper the pitcher (Ibeleive) hit the batter, THEN threw
a wild pitch to allow the runner to move to 3rd base.

Billy Bucks can't shoulder all the blame.

Seven games, Cubs vs. Red Sox. That would be awesome. However, I hate to break it to you, but the
Cubs are going to win it. Ron Santo is having a tumor removed this week, and the Cubs have GOT to
win it for him. He's lost two legs to diabetes already.

RBR etiquette is to post the full podium in the headers. Who's on third?

  17. What do Bill Buckner and Michael Jackson have in common?

Both wear a glove on one hand for no particular reason!

    Dumbass

Baseball is not for the poor cycling wannabee. You have to be able to either afford a good seat or
have a good friend who is a baseball geek and has season tickets. The only other way is to know
someone who can get you into a skybox and you drink enough free tequilla that you don't care about
    the boring game.
