HELP with pedals!!

I have tried 2 mountain bike pedals. SPDs and time attacks, time attack wins easily. Easier in, easier out, and it hold the foot firmly in teh pedal while still allowing alot of float.

But im sure there will be other, better, pedals out there that I havnt tried!

You are limited to basically mountain bike pedals. Unless you want to buy the lower end shimano road SPDs, a high end mountain pedal would be the way to go.

Then again, you could always get road shoes.

Would it make any difference with road SPDs? I am planning on getting the PD-M520s and I sure as hell don't want to have a difficult time slipping in and out of them.

try speedplay frog pedals on your road bike.

I have been using MTB shoes and pedals on my road bike for about 3 months now and am finding that the lack of stiffness in the sole is causing problems in my knees. If you can, upgrade to road shoes and save your knees. I dont know if i can support the verdict of someones opinion of time MTB pedals a bit further up. I had 2 sets and broke the 7 of the 16 arms (4 on each pedal) within 9 months. Not strong enough though they are much more comfortable than spd's.
