  1. I have a knifing pain in the right glute which has migrated somewhat towards the lower back and hip.
Sitting or lying is fine, once I get positioned. Bearing weight and moving in any range of motion is
a new adventure in pain. Any ideas or suggestions as to what it is and how to deal with it?

    Someone stabbed you.

    Hi,

About 5 weeks ago I injured a muscle just above the glutes, near to my left hip... after 3 weeks
it went away but came back a week later. although now it is recovering, it has moved to the exact
position only this time to my right side, furthermore it is causing cramps in my leggs,
particularly around my thighs and ankles.

Does anyone have any idea as to what my prob may be and how i could heal it quicker?

I've been out of training for 5 weeks and I wanna get back on the road asap
    🙂

    Thanks Fahad

    Fahad,

Here's some stuff to look at regarding the hams and quads: mindfulness.comof5.asp

Secondly, I'd get a tennis ball and sit on it with most of the weight on my hands and feet and
see where the sore spots are. Then I gradually let my weight sink into the tennis ball in those
    areas. o / \/\_

The issue is we don't know how you injured you muscle. Also the glut may be the injured muscle and
what you are describing is the pain at the musculotendon junction or at the point of origin of that
muscle...all due to the fact that that muscle can contract but only partially relax...therefore
sending the tension to the tendon...which as you'll remember is white and grisly and has very little
blood supply. Then you compensated for the injury and tightened up other muscles which are now not
letting go. But barring all of that you may have done something to your spinal cord. If that is the
case get thee to someone who can medically diagnose the cause of your problem.

I don't know about that, but they sure feel good in other places...

  5. A giant pain in the ass, with a giant pain in the ass. It's irony on a base level, but I
    still like it.

  6. Could be sciatica, if it is, I feel for you, I too am struggling with it. I went to the doctor and
he basically told me to take it easy for a week or so and take some anti-inflammatory like Aleve or
some ibuprofen. I did, but it persists, that was two years ago. It flares up every now and then.Good
    luck......

What RU, slow upstairs? A moron MD (lots of those out there) does nothing (what they're best at) and
you just give up? GO TO A CHIROPRACTOR, NOW! And stop suffering.
