Landis was supposed to show up to a post-tour race in Holland yesterday, and to start in a race in Denmark today, but seems to have gone missing.
It's not possible to get a hold of him nor his DS anywhere.
It certainly is strange that he willingly gives up all that cool cash waiting for him in these races. But perhaps his hip i hurting too bad. Or he's just plain tired.

Or maybe he was the doper in the Tour.

French midday news reported the same thing as part of the story about the "positive" control. Hmmm, lets hope they don't know something they shouldn't but knowing the in-bred French system it has to make you wonder? Just a related aside or a subtle hint?

Germany is the only national federation with a high profile tdf rider that has not denied being contacted by the ICU about the dope test, if my google news searches are to be believed.
In spite of being paid a lot of money, Landis just failed to show up at the crit, he did not withdraw, a first for a high-profile rider this crit.

Landis won a Dutch crit Tuesday night and then dropped out of sight Wednesday. The timing seems to line up with the dope test, but could just be the hip I guess.
