Great. Now I have to run out and buy /four/ new gruppos. This was an
expensive thread.
Who knows, with SRAM offering a full group maybe in ten years we will look back on Campy vs Shimano in the same way we now see Suntour vs Simplex.

Yup, just in time as the 2007 Campy line will have plenty of changes
for those who must have the latest!

Of course, Specialized can't be left out of it too:

I wonder if I can retrofit that "zertz" technology into my bike. Oh
wait a minute, all I have to do is ride fatter tires, like a *true*
700x25 pumped up to 90psi and I'll have "as much comfort."

I dislike and distrust it already.

No bike has ever won a TdF. No groupset also. Miguel, Lance, Landis &
co. won them!

Loosing the TdF is a different matter though😉

Win on Sunday, sell on Monday. I'm sure BMC, Zipp, Campagnolo will
'feel' this win...even if the 'unclean masses' that actually use this
stuff, w/o the van full of spares and legion of mechanics still rely on
anbike shop for maintenance.
EVEN if the only thing 'Chevy' on that NASCAR is the hood emblem,
people still buy Chevys when they win at Talladega.

This year's race was tight.
(I'll wait.)

Who are you going to loose the TdF on? It would be quite the spectacle
to loose the TdF on someone's backyard.

Not bad, in fact, very creative.
