I would have to go through quite a bit to prove my input on the military

The 50 MPH trike is a case where I should have researched my physics a
bit more, but to a 4-5 year old it did seem that fast. As I have
mentioned I took a car on that exact piece of road and it coasted up to
just below 25 MPH, so that would be my guess, way too fast to have my
feet on the pedals so I just stuck my legs out and let gravity have it's
way. Wow, that must mean everything I say is BS, huh?
The 50.2 MPH downhill was a straight coast down a really steep section
of highway not even meant for bicycles, much less the mountain bike I
was on.
The 58 gear I still have hanging since it makes it impossible to use
most of my other gears due to the dérailleur slack take up running out
of spring and locking up the whole mess. I was never able to pedal the
58/11 combo past about 30, still at a low cadence, but plenty red in the
face. That bike now has a more sane top gear of 46/14 since it is a MTB.
The FET stack is in production / use by 2 companies that are defunct and
one that is still going. HP would still be making them but they took the
tester line in a different direction when they killed the AOT name.
Eagle may still be making them since they were a big hit for testing
defibrillators.
They do exist, but I don't know exactly what companies bought them,
since I was not in sales.

Except for the trike overestimate, it all really happened.
50.2 MPH on a downhill coast is not that big a deal when you hear that
the guys on the TdF are hitting as much as 75 MPH, and that is not from
pedaling, just gravity. I tried to pedal at 50 MPH and I could not pedal
anywhere near fast enough to even begin to catch the gear.
