how strong is a monkey lite XC easton handle bar( carbin fibre stuff), i'm aware it is plastic in a way, and just worry about it snapping at some point, how much will it take to break it? any one ever broken carbon handle bars, any experience/ advice on them?

It's stronger than aluminum, and has a lifetime warranty. Follow the directions and be careful not to score the carbon when mounting the stem, shifters, brakes. Both myself and a friend have ridden the monkeylite XC for 4 years with no problems.

I agree. Super strong bars. Have had mine for nearly 4 years as well. Never a worry.

Anyone notice a difference going from AL handle bars to Carbon Handle bars in terms of Comfort?

Nope; if anything, carbon is more comfortable than aluminum so you're moving in the right direction.
