  1. Hey guys.. my hamstrings have been tightening up light crazy lately... does having the saddle too far back create more use of the hamstring and too far forward more use of the quads?

    Yes, and going too far forward also puts more strain on your knees. How long have you been riding with this position?

  3. Too far back and too high both can cause hamstring strain. Go to a bike shop and schedule a fitting. It makes a big difference.
