Coffee at IKEA

I wouldn't count on it: I went into a petrol station to buy some water,
80km into a ride, queued up to pay, and when my turn came, the girl
behind the counter asked if I'd got petrol as well...

best take your bike with you then, which will also save you the 5 mile
walk through the Ikea oneway system 😉

It is a fair old walk or in Look cleats, clipperty clop, to the cafe
from the entrance too !!!

There is that classic clip on Police Camera Action, with the ned on a
scooter, with his home DIY goods sticking about 6ft out either side.

BTW, do Ikea still sell those bags of mini cinammon muffins? they used
to be rather addictive.

I don't remember the last time I bought petrol when I was in a car - I often
get it on a bike. I like to think that it amuses some people, but I think
the can strapped to the back rack is a bit obvious.

Hmm, thinks, the new IKEA due to open in Ashton would be just right for a
tea stop on a Sunday ride.

You need a pannier. For best effect, only the filler pipe of the can
should be visible.

on a bike!) - hardly getting people to buy big, are they?

There's plenty of little things you can buy at IKEA. I think one of the
things they'd want to do is get people buying the random little items (some
of which are useful (e.g. they've got the best and cheapest local range of
compact fluorescent lightbulbs)), so they see more of the big ticket items
and think more about them.

For me, coffee / living is not a good mix. Which is a shame because I like
coffee, and IKEA has Scandinavian style coffee, which I like.

I know someone who stepped out of a cafe during a Sunday ride and bought
a bed ! The store delivered of course ! DUnno if IKEA do

During past Bike Weeks, the Bristol IKEA has offered free delivery to
anyone who arrives by bike.

I went to IKEA once. Never again.
