Campy Centaur Brake Reach

Have you bothered to take a ruler and measure the exact amount of reach
you need?

It sounds like your bike might require standard reach (47-57mm)brakes
such as the Shimano R600 or Tektro 521AG models.

You won't have a quick release for the brake to be able to drop a wheel out
past the brake blocks. Campagnolo have the QR in the Ergo lever and Shimano
have it on the brake caliper, so if you use a Campagnolo caliper with a
Shimano lever there is no QR in the system.

I have three bikes setup the other way around, with Campagnolo levers and
Shimano calipers. This gives me two quick releases in the system, which
means I can use a fat tyre on a skinny rim (say a 700x28 on an Open Pro rim)
and can still remove the wheel without deflating the tyre by using both
quick releases.
