  1. I wear a rather expensive skate helmet ($45. Before that I had a $15
skate helmet that fit poorly). I can't recall the brand right now. As
I've posted before, I once had a backwards fall and there was just no
way I was going to stop my head from whacking the pavement. I had my
helmet on and I still saw stars for a couple of minutes.

I don't get the difference in your poll between the first choice and
the last one? Does the last choice mean that you never leave without it
but you maybe carry it under your arm or in a backpack?

  3. I don't do anything big enough to need a helmet. Around here it's more
likely to give me a heat stroke than to help me. I will probably start
wearing one when I start doing any major trials though.
