  1. Hey everyone.

I have decided to get back on my bike after a number of months. My bike has been standing indoors for about 6 months. It is a roadbike with STI's.

I would like to know what I should do in terms of maintenance. Should I buy lube and jump on or should I take it for a service?😕 It's practically new, did less than 50km before "I" went into hibernation!

    Thanx guys and gals

  2. If it's been kept away from moisture you shouldn't need to do anything more than put some air in the tires. A bit of lube on the chain and cables certainly won't hurt though.

They will be fine. The previous advice sums it up well. A little cleaning up and lubrication, some air in the tires and you should be good to go.
