  1. I cannot watch the TdF highlights on freeview at 7pm dammit. Since the hot
weather all ITV channels on freeview are unwatchable. BBC and the other
channels are unnaffected, just the ITV ones. Lets hope the weather breaks
soon. It is the only sport I really enjoy watching.

Get a Eurosport card. Daily live coverage plus good evening highlights
programme. Mind you, has serious consequences for the amount of _work_
    that gets done...

Sounds like a local problem. I pick up my freeview signal from the
Mendip transmitter situated at the top of the hill out of Wells.
I've had no real problems so far.

Is it a problem with the signal strength? You might need a better
aerial. I was lucky, the one I already had on the roof was fine.

Wot Dennis said. Mine's fine - I think it comes from Crystal Palace -
and I only have a poxy little set-top aerial (Bizarre Gardening Accident
put paid to the one in the loft).

Although the picture /does/ fall off the screen every time a motorbike
    goes past Larrington Towers.

    <Boggle>

Aerial cable emerges from loft under eaves and travels down rear wall of
Larrington Towers before sneaking into conservatory (RIP) and thence
into the Great Kitchens. Meanwhile Wisteria from Hell is busy:

o attempting to undermine conservatory (RIP), and
o attempting to invade loft by climbing aerial cable

I'm sure you can guess the rest...

You may have noticed my whinges on the same subject, particularly "Bad
    or no signal" on Sunday.

Thankfully I haven't actually missed a stage yet, although today's was
only just watchable. I'm with you on the hoping.
