Abso-freakin-lutely!! And the bonus (to me anyway) is that I don't have to travel across time zones
to do it!! I love this time of year as it does seem my output is at least double what it is in the
summer mth's, maybe it's just because I want to get back to the warmth faster ;-)

True story. The riding is the greatest here in the fall and spring (winter's almost constant rains can turn most trails into sh** soup though). Fewer folks, nice cool breeze, sticky trails=good times. I love the looks (questions) the cats at the gas stations give when you are filling up prior to a 8am ride in december. They look at you as though you are crazy and have no idea the joy and serenity to come. It's even better when you stop in AFTER a ride covered in mud/blood/sweat, beanie pulled down tight, nose bright red, grin on the mug, anticipation in your heart for the next ride. Nice, very nice. Damn, now I'm suddenly hungry for chili. Strange. Ride on.
