I have just completed my 1st 56km race. 🙂
However I could never keep up with the bunch am currently in traning for a 90km which I want to do in August, any advice on what to do diffrently and is it the same as say traning for a century.
I train manily alone because the 1 time i did try to ride in a group i was droped after just 1 km

find a group faster than you and keep riding with them till you can hold them, sounds like you already have the group.

Let's see....you train alone because you can't keep up with the group....
.....and in your first race.....
.....you couldn't keep up with the group.
What a surprise.
Train with the group that dropped you. And keep training with them until they can't drop you anymore. That's how it works.
Unless you like racing alone.
