  1. Along with Sevilla and Pevenage. On the basis of some documents supplied to them.

Blows the podium open even further for Cadel.

On a related note, Alan Davis's name has surfaced in papers in spain.

    Not a good day.

If Ullrich is suspendedbecause his name is on the list, then Basso should be
too. He's on the list as well...
And ASO has just rejected Astina-Wurth from participating also.
Le Tour has turned to le [censored] even before M. Gate has fried his first onion
    :-(

T-Mobile suspended Ullrich and Sevila. I wonder if CSC will do the
    same?

Looks like it, unless they pull Bernhard Kohl from the Austrian Tour.

  10. Basso has gone too now as well as Mancebo

Evans would be now close to favourite to win the whole thing. At least podium. Bizzare

  11. But these are the most tested cyclists in the world, and they've never
failed a drugs test. Oh, I see they're associated with a dodgy doctor.
Now where have I heard that story before?

  12. I reckon an American- Leipheimer, Landis, Hincapie

    or a Frenchman- Moreau

    or an Australian- Evans, EPOjono...

But this time they have evidence.

They have a set of nicknames that they've matched to rider names -- is
that stronger or weaker than matching test sample numbers to riders'
signed forms? Chain of custody is still an issue -- who is to say the
good doctor or his staff haven't tampered with things? And aren't they
    innocent until there's proof?

IAC, my real point is that the claim of never testing positive is again
shown to be meaningless. We should just be thankful that one doctor can
    only treat so many patients...

  15. Well I got Evans for the win at 51-1 off centrebet a while ago. All betting
is suspended at the moment though.

I'm just gutted though. This has all the making of the biggest sporting
    drug scandal of all time.

I think most of us are in complete shock.

If T mobile etc hadn't of suspended them themselves would have the whole
    team been gone by now???

The drivers were suspended according to T-Mobiles
    code of practice/ethics.

By now (1:30pm German time) _ALL_ drivers on the list
were suspended by their respective teams.
The team managers agreed not to nominate any substitute
    cyclists for their suspended drivers.
List of names can be found at (example):

  17. The whole race has turned to poo.
Will the rest of the riders race or not in protest as in 1998.

Perhaps If we all grab our bikes and head over, there might be a few starting spots up for grabs!
