Until we see a proper photo with hobs, cupboards and some laminate flooring
it's hard to say.
Bugger. We've got parquet in the kitchen.

some of the punctury-resistanty stuff inside, or at least whatever the
next layer down is.
Sounds about right. I'm amazed that the rubber has cracked, though; i
can't imagine what's happened to it. I keep the bike outside but under
cover, so it's hardly seen extremes of temperature (there have been a few
warm days, granted, but nothing that the products of a Californian company
shouldn't be able to handle). Must be my GNARLY RIDING STYLE. And to think
people suggested i buy a road bike - i'd have destroyed it by now!

would be an explosive puncture when you're at speed sending you over the
bars and into the path of an oncoming road roller. Let us know if it
happens so we can change our advice to you.
Wilco.

Cell biology.

How does that work, or is it only engineering that's men-only these
days?
Why would i bother taking pictures of the blokes?
Actually, there aren't that many blokes - using a list of current
personnel i happen to have to hand, my institute's 61% women. And that's
not counting the admin and core service staff. Biology traditionally has
more women than the more physical sciences, but i have to admit that this
place is over the top.
Although if Simon could tell me how to get hold of hot linux chicks in
bulk, that would be useful.
