G. Gate to win, because he will be first every stage!
Armstrong, eat your heart out. -

Evans...
Or is that wishful thinking.
I think the top three will be
Evans, Ullrich & Basso, not necessarily in that order.
Robbie for Green.Outsider: I wonder how Gerrans will go???

Might have to adjust my Polar Dream Team (again). -

Armstrong, eat your heart out.Mmmm... roast heart of Lance and venison pies? Surely one of monsieur
Gate's favourites!Personally, I'll just be glad to watch a bit of racing without a crying
baby in my arms this year. God forbid I get ANY sleep!--

I'd like to see Basso take it - Landis has been on song this year...
Out on a limb time...
GC: 1 Basso, 2 Jan (again, heh!), 3 Landis
Green: 1 Boonen, 2 Robbie, 3 ?
Spotty: hmmm..? Rassmussen in the top three..Jan will win every ITT.

Alejandro Valverde for me. Though I'd also love to see Basso win & do an Old Skool Giro\TdF double.

gplamaAbby's picks:
Zabriskie to take the prologue and wear yellow.
GC: 1. Basso; 2. Little Jannie; 3. Landis; 4 Vino (if he doesn't get
punted!!); 5. Evans.
Green: 1. Robbie; 2. Boonen; 3. Zabel (no stage wins, but will
takepoints every stage...)
Polka: 1. Simoni (even tho' I don't want him to); 2. Pozzato; 3.
RasmussenMaillot jeune progression - Zabriskie (Prologue); Ullrich (takes it at
first ITT); Basso (takes and keeps it in mtns).Cheers,
Abby (who's been thinking about this for an unhealthy amount of time!!) -

gplamaSadly I think that at least one team will be expelled after a drug
scandal. -

I'm repeating everyone else's, but here's what I think.
GC - 1st Basso, 2nd Jan, 3rd Mayo 4th Evans 5th Valverde
KOM - 1st Simoni, 2nd Rasmussen, 3rd Moreau
Green - 1st Robbie, 2nd Boom'em, 3rd Davis (about time he started to come of age).

I dont think its about comming of age for Davis,i think hes "there" already but he just needs some help in the sprints. Against, the DVL, QS and CA teams, it will be very difficult. He gets none in almost every race hes in from Liberty and he would take a fair few more wins if he was in a team that offered him a little leadout support. I guess reasons are now emerging as to why he hasnt wanted to leave the sanctity of Liberty, despite not getting alot of help and not making as much as he could elsewhere. Personally i think it will be pure luck that his name isnt one of the 15 liberty riders identified. -
