  1. I just won't be a complete cycling dork without one. I want a little name tag to hang from the back of my seat to have emergency information and so people don't have to remember my name when they need to tell me I'm doing something really stupid.
Anybody know where to get them? They're too dorky for Performance or Nashbar. I suppose I could design & make one myself, too, but I know everybody will want one once they see mine.

  2. Not exactly a license plate but try http://www.roadid.com

  3. I know one of our members (Lazy Legs) had his name put on a name plate in front of his bicycle - no personal details as such but a very nice custom job.

  5. hi geonz,

although i'm only an amateur cyclist myself, i have a few customers who have purchased name plates from our company for expressly this purpose. they usually order outdoor plastic, but some have ordered brass. we drilled holes into the sides, and the customers looped strings to hold the name plates onto the back of the seat.

check out our web site for name plates. we're offering free name plates for the next few months, actually, so if you're interested, ask about about the link-for-name-plate program. (basically, you put a link on your blog, and you get a free name plate.)

    hope this helps!

  6. I just got my new Conti Tyre Catalogue, in one of the pix, the Scott Team have their names on the top tube, just under the nose of the saddle. Looks so cool.. 😎
