Had a pet go down with something like this. Left untreated it could no
longer use her feet to scratch behind it's ears, so great that Sheldon
seems to have caught it in time.

Mumbles of Good Luck if he's listening, and if he's not listening, think
how much his brill website'll improve if he's no longer spending all that
time messing about on bikes :-)

Ouch, that's horrid. Get well soon, Sheldon, and long may you

I had similar symptoms which led to a surgery. In my case, things
improved. The steroids in question are catabolic ones - not anabolic.
They hurt the cause of muscle growth rather than enhance it.
