The guy who has given it says he's only used it twice and doesn't enjoy
it, so it would just be thrown out if Nathan doesn't want it. Nathan, on
the other hand, does enjoy using a turbo during the winter months and
for warming-up prior to a time trial, so the trainer most certainly will
be used.

Saw one in my local bikeshop that hooks up to your PC and simulates a
race course, you get to see the route on the video and it adjusts the
braking to simulate the climbs.

Next we will be seeing the MTB version.....pretty much the same but
with a giant spring mechanism under the stand that throws over the
handlebars every once in a while ;-)

Ok I'm jealous but it does give you a chnace to wander nonchalantly past
I giggle at how sweaty he's getting....or "accidentaly" increase the
reistance when he's not looking 🙂

There's one of those in the Tour of Flanders Museum in Oudenaarde, on
which one can pit oneself against a virtual Peter van Petegem up one of

I beat him by a couple of seconds, but rather suspect that in the real

They have something not dissimilar in effect, to show what hammering
across Belgian pave feels like (answer: terrible).
