  5. I thought there might be software which would provide other functionalities
    such as plotting charts of PBs, converting between short course and long
    course times etc...

    course times? I know it is a function of gender, distance and stroke.

  9. That is what a spreadsheet is for. You can register your PBs as
    detailed as you want. And do your own calculation over your data. I
    can't imagine better a application for it.

    Yes, and then you can also keep track of your diet, sleep patterns,
    workout distance, etc at the same time and then detect how these
    things affect your races.
