Thats because we have a surplus of oxymetholone, and dump that in the beer
we export to other countries.
Seriously, when i drink a lot, the veins on my hands and upper arm get
freakish sometimes.
I have no idea what kinda mechanism is involved.

really help at all since alcohol dehydrates the body?
There is a theory that says that a "pump" can help a muscle to hypertrophy.
I am not sure if this involves protein synthesis. Perhaps its an increase in
the ability to store more glycocen.

I cant imagine that 4-5% can actually dehydrate the body. The other 95% is
water after all.
Beer contains minerals/trace elements, i believe. A lot of bodybuilders
like to drink wine after intense workouts, to help get the heartbeat slow
down a bit, so you can relax and sleep better.
