  1. Now Lyn, I know how you feel about the fact that i refer to myself as
    mostly vegetarian even though i eat seafood. So I thought of you
    instantly when I saw the new menu at a local Mexican place.....

    They re-did their 'vegetarian menu" section. It has a variety of items,
    including spinach enchiladas, potatoe burritoes, bean chalupas,
    etc......and California Fish Tacos.

    Now it's onething (IMO) to refer to myself as veg as a shorthand way to
    let people know my dietary preferences. It';s a whole nother ball game
    to list fish on the vegetarian menu. I wasn't sure whether to be amused
    or offended!

    I know someone who was in Spain a few years ago. He's a diehard vegan and when
    he asked if the meal was vegetarian they assured him it was. The sauce was
    loaded with shredded chicken.
