I drove all day yesterday: decided to make the trip in one day instead
of two. My hip is just not taking kindly to motel/hotel beds lately,
unless they are in an expensive hotel.
I have been here already for about 6 weeks..just drove home to be in
southern Cal last week. I am here til at least the beginning of
September, and more than likely beyond that. Depends on me finding a
house to rent.
Let me know how the limoncello turns out..if you decide to make some.

"Decide to make some"? Girlie, I have saved that recipe to my hard
drive. Will dazzle future dinner guests with same. That is some yummy
stuff!

Heheheheheh.
I got some big jars from Cost Plus in which to make it. I now have
them with me here in NM. Now, if I can find some good lemons.....
Next year, I want to make some with Meyer lemons.
I think it tastes better the longer you let it age. Let the lemon
peels soak in the vodka for a long time...weeks and weeks, I would
say. Then after you dilute it down with more vodka, and the sugar
syrup, let it age again for weeks and weeks. It seems to make a big
difference.
