  1. I receive $8000 a year from one source, which comes to $666.66 a month. I
can deal with that, although once in a while it stops a bank teller in her
tracks. But this month's check arrived on 6/6/06. There was No Way, and I
mean No Way, I was going to deposit that check today.

Oh come on...you missed an opportunity to make some Big Time Christian spend
his or her entire next week doing nothing but praying. Heck...they're
probably all sweeping each other with brooms today, enlisting voodoo, just
    to be sure.

Hoo hoo, that's funny. And reminded me of something that happened
once while waiting on line at the supermarket. There was this cashier, I
would try to avoid getting in her line, she was just so annoying. Wound
up there anyway this time, the woman in front of me had a piece of meat
and the cashier made some startled comment about You can't buy this meat!
something along those lines. I'm thinking, is it bad? What?

The price is $6.66!!! The mark of the devil! That is the first time I
    recall
ever hearing anything about this 666 business. Oh for pete's sake. But
then, suddenly, it got worse. The woman in front of me instantly said,
    that's
okay, it will be $3.33, I have a raincheck.

Forget the mark of the devil, the dreaded raincheck, this makes the cashier
disappear into thin air while she goes to get someone in the meat department
to change the price of the meat.

So it was bad luck for me on that day.

I was at the grocery store the other day and I picked up some pasta salad from
the deli counter. The total came to $6.66. I jokingly said "oooh the salad of
the beast". The deli counter lady got a little freaky and offered to change it
for me. I just laughed and told her not to worry about it.

That's about as silly as the born again christian girl at a little
second hand store ran by her church that i occasionally patronize, a few
months ago i bought a few books and chatchkas there and it came to $6.66
and she refused to complete the sale.

I gave her my best Mr. Spock imitation and demanded to speak to her
superior, needless to say i got my merchandise for $6.66.

One time another patron of the store asked me for an act of 'christian'
kindness to reach an object on a high shelf, and i replied that i would
be happy to perform an act of 'pagan' kindness, the look i got from that
women! you would think i just suggested she take up consorting with
    demons or something.

Occasionally i read tarot cards at charity events, to help raise money
for a good cause, one time some picture perfect yuppies, not a hair out
of place, perfectly groomed walked in to the hall off the street and
inquired about the price of a tarot reading and i, in my perverse way,
told them it would cost them their first born male child.

THey acted like they believed me and scurried away as quickly as their
Gucci loafer clad feet would carry them.

Here the picture-perfect yuppies with Gucci loafers and coiffed 'dos
are more likely to be Unitarians or Quakers than your run-of-the mill
Bible beaters. Don't judge a book...

  10. Some people have nothing more to worry about. Its intresting when
    numbers come up that way.

If a lottery number comes up 666 in a states lottery on this day, that
would really be interesting. Especially if you played it.

Its time to put all these suberstitions to rest.

They're chocolate covered swiss rolls (unless swiss rolls are usually
enrobed in chocolate). Similar to Drakes Yodels, but Hoho's are made
    by Hostess.

I think the ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate chips would do a
lot to improve them. Leaving them out and just having the ice and
whipped cream covered in chocolate chips would be even better!

No idea. But, believe me - unless you're fantastically drunk, there's no

They are different makers, although part of the same parent company it
seems. I gather "yodels" are Drakes Cakes, ho-hos are Hostess.
