I'm not sure I understand. Deleting that directory will not
effect network or AOL software, if that's what you're asking. It
will delete your personal profile for Thunderbird and any local
mail folders. Thunderbird will still work, hut have to set it up
again.

Steve,
I'm sorry. I meant to write a proper post and had started writing it. i must
have sent rather than saved it. Sorry to have posted that.
I *do* have a question but will not post it before I have written it ino
something more legible. Might be a while - I am having health problems that
are forcing me into a low gear.
But thank you very much for answering even to such a weird post.
(BTW, I had tried deleting the file in question but didn't find it or
anything simil;ar sounding in that directory).
Anway, I am pcking for my holiday and it is unclear whether I'll be online
during the holiday.
I'll think of all of you while I am away eating foreign foods 🙂

Somehow I've become the groups unofficial Mozilla support dude.
Fell free to email me whenever you have any questions. Everybody
else does ;-) <[email hidden]>
I may not see it if it's posted here, so email is best if you
expect an answer.
