I tried Stevia a couple of years ago and ended up throwing it out. I
found it to be not practical as a sweetener; it sweetens but gives its
own "planty" taste to whatever you put it in. I don't want my coffee
or iced tea to taste like grass!

Sorry, I should have added "YMMV" to this post.

The version I got at Trader Joes is great for sweetening iced tea, blender
drinks, ect.
I really think it is great when I make a big batch of non sweetened tropical
punch kool-aid, and it sweetens it w/out a funny taste.
