Whilst I am asking questions about Welsh Marilyns - I seem to remember a couple of years ago there is one in the western parts of Brecon (I think) with a GOML farmer who ended up on TV because of his refusal to let walkers use the ROW.
Does anyone know to which hill he was blocking access - and whether he still stands at the gate with his pitch-fork?

There is a nasty specimen near Ystradfellte. Between the village and the reservoir. Very notorious.

I can't remember either but I think the issue was aired on Countryfile so perhaps a question to the producer might help.

That area of road that is closed off...is that where he is - often wondered about that ?

Do you mean the bit where there is a gate (or is it two gates?)? I tend to find that the gates are open, or at least openable with very little effort. I've very rarely seen anyone around at the farm though.
