If you mean the Trig Point on Drum Ddu height 474 then best ask
Bootlaces - I think he did a runner a couple of years ago.

If you mean the Trig Point on Drum Ddu height 474 then best ask
Bootlaces - I think he did a runner a couple of years ago.

No - I mean the summit at SN 96095 46455 which is at 478 metres. The 474
metre high trig point is 2.5 km away at SN 97922 44763. Both of them
have a nearby track marked on the map. And the previous thread talked
about a sentry box at the beginning of the track as a result of post
11/9 paranoia.

You might be able to guess that I am trying to tidy up the remaining mid
Wales Marilyns - although there aren't enough left to get me into the
MARHOF. Will have to go to live in Scotland.

Bootlaces did the Mynydd Epynt the same year as we met - Pau and me at
Llyn-y-Fan Fawr. He mentioned touching the top ( the Trig I thought)
just a little way from the road.

I see the summit in Memory Map and it is only a short dash from the
road. there is ample parking space at that spot on the main road for
you. As for the sentry - I've never seen one there!
