The funny thing about this is that here in the USA it's a violation of
rules / agreement in most all races of any length to wear a
walkman/ipod like device - headphones, etc. I've never heard of this
being enforced, but it's a "cover your ass clause" for the RD & their
liabilty.

In sum, it's a violation of the rules/regs to wear this Nike device in
a Nike Sponsored race. Scale this out, imaging hundreds of people
wearing this device and viewing the monitor.

There will be accidents, collisions, etc. from people's diverting their
attention from the road and to the screen w/headphones on. I've seen
collisions near water stops when people just suddently "stop",
hell...people suddenly stop at all points in a race. A person behind
them w/their head down viewing the screen and "bam".

We're going to see a new class of litigation wherein people make
hazards of themselves....very similar to how people cause accidents
while driving and on the cell phone and or fiddling with the radio/cd
player. etc.
