  1. Thats the only thing i can think to say about this: Comunidad Valenciana was removed from this years tour because its deputy director was arrested by the spanish police for doping activity, while the tour has taken no action towards liberty seguras (or whatever the heck they are caliing themselves now). Even though their team director Manolo Saiz, is the person that police say is at the center of the scandal? Huh??? I realize that he resigned, but they caught him with all sorts of illegal substances and yet the tour is only punishing CV... I don't get it.😕

The difference, so far, is that Comunidad Valenciana is not a Pro Tour Team, and Liberty Seguras-Wurth was. The race organizers were free to invite or disinvite Comunidad Valenciana, but unless the UCI revolks the Pro Tour license of Astana/Wurth, the race organizers have their hands tied. Under the current agreement, all of the Pro Tour teams must be invited. Expect the UCI to make a decision regarding Astana/Wurth sometime this week
