  1. I'm training to hopefully be on a professional women's team in the near future. I was curious if anyone had any info on the pace they set and what might their average speed be on different terrains. thanks

    A quick look at the www.cyclingnews site shows that speed can range from 41k/hr (just over 25mph) down to about 32k/hr (20mph) depending on terrain and length of stage. That's world Cup level by the way, including present/former World/Olympic/European/US champions.

    If you check out VeloNews race reports, I'm sure that they'll give the results of US based events with times and course lengths, etc.
