Got some used Ksyrium Elites and want to put on an Ultegra 9 speed cassette. Looks pretty basic and have the special wrench, but have a couple of questions. The hub has what looks like a spacer/washer. I'm assuming it should be placed between the largest cog and the inside of the hub. Also, is there anything in the way of lubrication necessary besides basic chain lube?

I have never done that before but when I was thinking about upgrading to ultegra on my old bike I came across these pages. Maybe you can find your answer here.

If not try calling the guys at 3sports at 288-4000. They are good mechanics.
