I am working with someone professionally who has just taken up bicycle
commuting. He writes in a recent email:

    ---
I'm commuting from Bainbridge Island. I'm up at the northern end and it's
a little over 7 miles to and from the ferry. Yes, I've slept well these
    past few nights.

I have to admit that I'm not a stylistic nor sophisticated biker. I spit,
I sing out loud (and poorly) to make the riding go by faster, wear cotton
clothing, Feel like I'm in a Lamaz clas when I breathe, my face turns
bright red from the exertion, and I look absolutely wiped out when I
finally get to my destination. 4 people commented yesterday at the
    elevator how tired I look.

Other than that, I think biking to work is the COOLEST thing.
    ---

I just loved this. Isn't great to discover something new? Don't you wish
you were just taking up bicycle commuting again?

Claire posts crapola like this just to drive me around the bend. She knows I
can't stand this type of juvenilia. This is her womanly way of getting back
at me for describing her as a kind and gentle person, but essentially
    brainless.

Claire, I know like all women that you like to shop, so the next time you
are at the mall, try to get a brain for yourself. You really should not be
posting to a newsgroup until you have a brain you can rely on. The one you
presently have is constantly playing tricks on you. Just because you are
teacher does not mean you can be like a child yourself. Please try to grow
up for my sake if not your own.

Roland, there is just something so pitiful about the way woman post on this
newsgroup. It is like they can say any stupid thing that pops into their
very small brains and there will be others, invariably men, who will want to
rescue them from their own stupidity.

Women have their virtues, but intelligence is not one of them. I have never
known a woman in my life who was not under the sway of her hormones. The
only intelligent women are old hags who no longer have any hormones.

I long ago got rid of all the women on ARBR. They are like children and that
is how they should be dealt with.
