Today I was out in the Peak District, enjoying the fine surface of the Tissington trail, and some good road descents.... I needed a sheet 119 and popped into WH Smiths at Ashbourne, and was told that if you buy 1 1:50 000 OS map, they will sell a second at half price - ie £9 for two.
This is on for the rest of the week and possibly next week too, and is at all branches of Smiths. I dont know if it applies to other scales.
