Short shorts

Have you checked ebay? You might find some shorts from the 80's on there. Not sure of any companies that make "80's" shorts now though.

Problem is you want an 80's style short with a modern pad. I just roll them up to get a better tan line. Got me some short legs anyway so it's a fairly common issue. In a race I just slide them up as much as I can since the sponsor gets PO'd when you cover their logos.

I guess the only other option would be to go some type of custome route. Maybe there are women's shorts cut with a shorter inseam.

I mean even someone like Performance who has 4-6 different shorts could make a 'short' short. They'd even save a nickel or dime in the 4-6 inches of fabric saved 😉

I know, I like the mid thigh shorts as well.

Try "Tri" websites or tri shops around town. Tri shorts are a little shorter.
Colorado Cyclist has shorter shorts or Tri-shorts, I'm not sure.

Pearl Izumi's shortest women's shorts (Sugar Shorts with a 5" inseam- I've tried them on and I find them to be too short to be comfortable myself and I'm little) come in up to an XL which is a 34.5 waist. Not really that big for a guy, but not tiny either. Their men's tri-shorts have a 6.5" inseam.

Nowhere near as well padded as cycling shorts. Usually its about the thickness of a towel. It would be impossible to properly swim or run with the regular padding.

I have a pair of (I hate to say it) Nike Alpha project shorts which i have completely failed to find on Nikes very pretty but customer wise S**T website. Which are short and comfy. Part No (v faded) appears to be F9 KHM. Adidas have a 91/2 inch inseam is this too long?

Every pair I find nowadays is so low cut that it covers even my teardrop, which I find uncomfortable. I usually roll them up a little bit, but I find this ridiculous. Someone has to make 'shorter' shorts.

And no, I am not going to cut them and lose the elastic band... 😉

lol. i thought i was the only one that found nike's site to be utterly useless.

i've tried on women's shorts but i don't believe the pad is designed for my bits and pieces.
