Lower Sydenham? I went past a bus that had been opened like a tin there last night.
According to Kent police it is now in upper Sydenham and heading East. Members of the public are advised not to get close as it is a highly dangerous bridge. A crack team of civil engineers are standing by[1] to recapture the errant structure and return it to where it should be so it does not damage any more vehicles.

Exactly what actions the bridge took to cause the crashes are mysteriously missing from the article.
Quite where I might buy one of these intelligent bridges, busses or lorries is not clear.
The railway bridge at Murryfield stadium is a good bridge for catching out inattentive drivers. Over the years I've seen 2 busses and several lorries. The best being a skip lorry that hit so hard that the whole of the rear of the lorry came off. It needed a crane to remove the back end, the road was closed for hours.
