Good Evening/Morning,
Any advice on the worthiness of a Peugeot UO-12 for fixed gear purposes? I may have the opportunity to pick one up locally.
The headset was a bit rough but the cranks and bottom bracket were good.
Estimate the value of this with essentially just frame/fork/crankset and bottom bracket? (It's been through alot I gather)
Thanks,
Diablo Scott

Thanks,
Check your stem size- a lot of those old Peugeots had French steerers and headsets that couldn't take a 22.2mm stem. Otherwise should make a fine fixie.

I imagine that new bearings for the headset would suffice. It was a bit dry, not grinding or sticking.

heavy carbon steel bike : $25 with very good paint, $5-$10 with bad paint.
