    duck as it flew over?

Looks like it was going at over 70mph, too.

Well, assuming that it didn't stall, I think it's safe to assume that it
    was.

    - pub is at the green triangle on Faggs Rd, rhs of picture, runway 27L
is the grey thing on the left. Very popular with anorak wearers for
    some reason.

Watched from the office window in Sunbury as it approached. As it
taxied after landing you could clearly see the tail moving above the
buildings, like the dorsal fin of a shark moving through the water.
    This from 4 miles away.

The makers allege its fuel consumption per seat is about the same as
that of an economical car. But I suspect that means the whole car, not
    each seat in it.

    Good pics, though.

On average in Britain, you're more likely to get a head injury walking
    a mile than cycling it.
So why aren't we all exhorted to wear walking helmets?

you're not wrong there; my (quite old) knowledge of the route certainly
does not extend to suburban housing / industrial estates ;-)

thanks; on day I'll fulfill my ambition to ride all the way to Brum on
it (as my friend in Warwick is now in Detroit)
