  1. Hi,
Just picked up a pair of Carbon X aero bars for my TT bike. However,
when I went to mount the Shimano barend shifters, the diameter is too
great to fit inside the bar extensions. Anyone else run into this? If
so, how do you remedy it? Please email direct: [email hidden] dot com
    Thanks !!!!! --jay

Didn't have a problem with my coworkers Carbon X bars and DA 9sp shifters.
Check to see if the bars weren't damaged in shipping, becoming ovalized or
dented. The extensions are aluminum with a cosmetic carbon wrap, so it can
    get dented.
