Sometimes during my routine on resistance equiptment I tend to yawn quite a
lot, not through lack of sleep.
have you experts any suggestions on why this might occur.
e.g. is my body demanding more sugar / liquid etc
(I am 67 yearsof age) only constructive suggestions please

comments. My guess is that you're using weights so light as to not be challenging.
Working with heavier weights might help with the yawns and with your
strength, too. -
I'm 39 and I somtimes yawn when working out. Yawning is a mechanism for
getting more air/oxygen into the system. Even just now as I type this I
consciously
slowed my breathing a little. Being that I just got done with a workout a
little while
ago my body still feels like it's requiring good deep breaths. When I
consciously
slowed down my breathing the feeling of wanting to yawn came upon me.Nothing to worry about, in my humble opionion.
