OT: Anyone taken a dog to Gigha

we took a dog when i was ten and we camped there with my mate and his dad
but as i am 51 now dont suppose it counts but you can take your dog anywhere
in scotland with the new access laws they cant stop you

The Land Reform Scotland Act does allow access with dogs but only if
they are under 'proper control' and there are a few restrictions on
field types acces is permitted to.

Gigha's a friendly place and they'll welcome you and the pooch, I'm
sure. There are a lot of cattle about (fewer sheep), so take heed of
the perennial advice about dogs, cows and calves.
