I can't imagine why you would believe that. The axle might, by fortunate chance, fit from one to the
other. If the cranks fit on each other's axles you might be able to keep the Campy one on the
Raleigh and put on the Stronlight cranks. Maybe?

Probably not. The Raleigh will have, most likely, English threads, which are the same as modern
threads. But the Motobecane (how old?) will likely have French threads, which are not the same.
